Owner + Principal Designer
Meghan Kardow is a residential interior designer living in Austin, Texas.
Originally from Houston, Meghan discovered her love for art at an early age when she was gifted the book “Linea in Monet’s Garden” for her eighth birthday. From there her appreciation for art and design grew eventually taking her to study fine arts, where she honed her skills in drawing and painting, ultimately earning her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the University of Texas at Austin.
Interior design had always been a passion on the side, and after completing her undergraduate degree, she ventured to Los Angeles to further her expertise, ultimately earning her Master’s degree in Interior Architecture from Cal Poly Pomona. Living in Los Angeles for five years Meghan fully immersed herself in the design community. She was an active member in the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and worked for several residential interior design firms. She returned to Austin in 2014 where she continued to enjoy her work in the high-end residential design field, and the ever-changing Austin landscape.
Coming from a background that combines interior architecture and art, Meghan brings a cool blend of technical know-how and a great eye for design. To her, design isn’t just about being practical; it’s about having personality. Your home is like a canvas that should represent who you are and how you love to live. Blending modern pieces with traditional antique finds, creates spaces that feel both collected and curated. She’s all about mixing colors and patterns in fun ways to create a look that’s one of a kind, just like you.
